Our Leadership Consulting process

A clear, structured path from initial conversation to lasting leadership transformation. No guesswork, no cookie-cutter programmes — just a proven methodology tailored to your reality.

How we work together

Every engagement follows six deliberate phases. Each phase builds on the last, creating momentum that carries through long after the formal engagement concludes.

1

Discovery conversation

It all begins with a complimentary 45-minute conversation. We listen carefully to understand your leadership challenges, organisational context and desired outcomes. This is not a sales pitch — it is a genuine diagnostic dialogue designed to determine whether we are the right fit for each other. You will walk away with at least one actionable insight, regardless of whether we move forward together.

2

Assessment and diagnosis

Once we agree to work together, we conduct a thorough assessment. Depending on the engagement type, this may include 360-degree feedback surveys, leadership style inventories, stakeholder interviews, team effectiveness diagnostics or a culture audit. The goal is to build a clear, data-driven picture of where you are today — strengths, blind spots and the systemic dynamics that shape leadership behaviour in your organisation.

We compile findings into a confidential insights report that becomes the foundation for everything that follows. This phase typically takes two to three weeks.

3

Strategy and goal setting

Armed with assessment data, we co-create a development strategy with you. Together, we define three to five measurable goals, identify the behaviours that need to shift and agree on the success criteria we will use to evaluate progress. We also map out a timeline, session cadence and any supporting activities such as peer learning groups, reading assignments or on-the-job experiments.

This collaborative planning ensures you own the process — it is your growth agenda, not ours.

4

Active coaching and facilitation

This is the heart of the engagement. For individual coaching, sessions run 60 to 90 minutes and blend reflective dialogue, skill building and real-time problem solving. For team workshops, we design immersive half-day or full-day experiences that combine experiential exercises, structured conversation and practical toolkits.

Between sessions, we provide targeted resources — articles, frameworks, short exercises — and remain available for brief check-ins when urgent leadership moments arise. We believe the most powerful learning happens in the space between formal sessions, so we design for transfer from the start.

5

Mid-point review and recalibration

Halfway through the engagement, we pause to evaluate progress against the goals set in phase three. We gather fresh data — often a pulse survey or abbreviated 360 — and compare it to the baseline. If circumstances have changed or new priorities have emerged, we adjust the plan. This mid-point checkpoint keeps the engagement responsive and prevents drift.

6

Closure, transfer and sustained impact

As the formal engagement draws to a close, we conduct a final assessment to measure growth and document lessons learned. We create a personal leadership playbook — a concise, practical document that captures the tools, habits and frameworks you have developed so you can continue applying them independently.

We also schedule a complimentary follow-up session three months after the engagement ends to check in on sustained progress and address any new challenges. Our relationship does not end when the contract does — alumni of our programmes can always reach out for advice.

The principles behind our process

Our methodology is grounded in three core principles that shape every decision we make during an engagement.

Systems thinking

Leaders do not operate in a vacuum. We always consider the broader system — the team, the organisational culture, the market context — when diagnosing challenges and designing interventions. A behaviour that looks like an individual weakness is often a rational response to a dysfunctional system. By addressing root causes rather than symptoms, we create change that endures.

Adult learning theory

Adults learn best when they see immediate relevance, draw on their own experience and have the freedom to experiment. Our sessions are never lectures. They are structured conversations, simulations and real-world applications that respect the expertise you already bring to the table while stretching you into new territory.

Accountability architecture

Insight without action is entertainment. We build accountability into every phase — through measurable goals, progress tracking, peer commitments and structured reflection. This architecture ensures that the energy generated in coaching sessions translates into observable behaviour change in the workplace.
